Ternal® EV represents the first truly innovative Calcium Aluminate binder in over 100 years. Since the introduction of Ciment Fondu in 1908, Kerneos has been a world leader in research, development and production of Calcium Aluminate binders, and Ternal EV® is the next product in this line.
Ternal® EV joins other binders in the newly introduced Ternal family of binders designed specifically for use in construction and building chemistry applications.
Ternal® EV allows for the formulation of flooring products with very specific properties, and has been designed for binary binder systems in products such as self leveling underlayment and screed.
Ternal® EV is a revolutionary new chemistry based on a new Aluminate phase, Ca12Al7, that allows for extremely efficient formation of ettringite. Currently produced in Europe and imported, the finished cement is available from our Chesapeake, VA site and available now.
Ternal® EV is available packaged in 25 kg bags and 1500 kg super sacks.
